Taking photos of Venice easy: every photographer is always fascinated by the sublime which is the easiest way for a captivating picture.
On the contrary it is hard to scratch the coat of beauty of this town and bring ti light a differente Venice around us. But now this group of photographers full of a deep Venetian feeling, has decided to share all that lots of people try not to see for money’s sake.
That is the reason for these large size photos, sticked on the plastered walls at Giudecca: big ships, hordes of uncivilized tourists, extreme wave motion, absurd carnival masks, awful plastic gondolas, new tricks to cheat tourists.Photography is the unique way to evidence these hard times, trying to preserve from oblivion the sad and dangerous situation of this town, unbearable for (almost) everyone.
