“Say postcard and immediately conventional views and touristy stereotypes come to mind; but postcards pictures have always reflected the ongoing changes in the visual imaginary of Italy. The photographers of ITALIAN POSTCARDS look at the Italian physical and anthropological landscape with an eye to create their own postcard picture. About 40 B/W and colour images illustrate their personal versions of a postcard stereotype and make up an interesting journey rich in observations, emotions and recollections.”
